Watering, weeding, and harvesting the back vegetable garden
Each week, from now until October, you can sign up for a week of watering, weeding, and harvesting the back garden. The food pantry can distribute our harvest, although you’re welcome to take some for your family too! The best timing will be Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning, in time for the Thursday afternoon food pantry. You can leave vegetables in the social hall on Wednesday evening or Thursday morning, or outside the food pantry building (Wisdom House). The Wednesday timeslot is because Signup.com requires a specific time, and to remind about the harvesting date, but of course the watering and weeding can be done at any time.
