The day of Pentecost falls on June 5 this year. It commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit on Jesus’ followers, as described in the Acts of the Apostles. This event is considered the birth of the early church.
A few things to keep in mind for Pentecost 2022:
- Wear red!
- We will welcome new(er) members to the St. Clare’s family as part of our worship service.
- Stay for a picnic on the grounds after our 10:30 service! An entree will be provided. Bring a side or dessert to pass. along with lawn chairs or a picnic blanket. Bring your own plates and cutlery to reduce waste!
