Introduction to Peacemaking Circles, November 1, 5:00 – 6:30 pm via Zoom

Join us – no registration required! Carolyn Stilwell from the Dispute Resolution Center will offer an overview on the circle keeping process, how it is used in the courts, opportunities to become a part of the Restorative Justice effort in Washtenaw County, and how we might be able to use circles as a facilitation technique.

This Land Podcast discussion, November 7, 3:00 – 4:30 pm via Zoom

Registration required at https://bit.ly/This-Land. Limited to 25 participants. Please use an active email, as that is how you will receive the zoom link. If registration is full, check back as we might be able to add slots for participants depending on the number of facilitators available.

START LISTENING! We will discuss SEASON 2 – about five hours of content. This podcast covers attempts in the courts to dismantle the Indian Child Welfare Act, while revealing the entities behind the attempts to do so and what they are hoping to gain by defeating ICWA. Please finish the podcast – all eight episodes of Season 2 – prior to joining the discussion group. As you listen, please note issues that stand out for you.
