September 15, 2021 — The search committee hosted candidates for in-person visits. Following these visits, the search committee met twice for prayer and discernment and has selected a candidate, whom they will present to the vestry next week.
If the vestry supports the search committee’s selection, the candidate will be presented to the bishop for final approval to issue the call. The wardens will then negotiate a letter of agreement with the successful candidate. Once the letter is signed, the vestry will announce the selection of the next rector, in coordination with the candidate’s current congregation.
