Thanksgiving 2023 Volunteer & Donation Opportunities
We are hosting the Rotating Shelter at our Genesis building Nov. 20 – 26 to serve men experiencing homelessness during Thanksgiving week. Although meals and drivers are not needed this time, you can SIGNUP HERE to be an on site volunteer host and to donate pre-packaged food. We also encourage monetary donations to the Shelter Association. See below for more information on how to volunteer and contribute this year including Social Hosts, Evening Hosts, Overnight Hosts, and Food Donations.
COVID Precautions: all hosts must be masked. Guests can remove masks to eat and drink in the social room and when in their bedding area which is most of the time.
Our Information & Training Document must be reviewed before serving as a volunteer host. We will send it to you. Thank you!
