Greetings, St Clarians!
Your Rector Search Committee would like to give you all a progress report regarding the rector search process. We have recently completed Zoom interviews with the candidates we selected based on our review of their written materials. We’ve identified finalists and are now in the process of checking their references. We’ll then notify the finalists and move forward with scheduling their site visits.
A sub-committee (Wendy Hatem, Eliza Nuxoll, Tom Rich) is working hard to plan the site visits for the candidates in the coming weeks, when they’ll meet with the search committee, the bishop, and the vestry, as well as with the rabbi of Temple Beth Emeth and our congregational staff. Depending upon the speed with which these interviews can be scheduled, we expect to share our recommendation with the vestry in September or October.
