Q: What is this Genesis thing, anyway?
A: The short answer is “You”. Genesis includes all members of Temple Beth Emeth and St.cClare’s Episcopal Church. It is a tax-exempt corporation owned 50% by St. Clare’s Church and 50% by Temple Beth Emeth.
Q: Why should I care?
A1: Genesis maintains our building, and hires the staff to keep it running smoothly. This includes event set-ups, repairs and improvements; we are currently looking for ways to decarbonize.
A2: Also, we all have a unique opportunity to work hand and hand with those of another faith, and in so doing, set an example of cooperation for the rest of the world.
A3: We are one of the few partnerships like this in the country.
