The Outreach Commission is holding our annual supply drive for Corner Shower and Laundry in Detroit. CSL offers clean and safe shower and laundry facilities where unhoused guests can shower and launder their clothes. Bring your donations of any of the following to church now through March 1. CSL has a wish list on Amazon if you want to order for them directly. They particularly need people who will make a recurring purchase (every 2 months) to provide a stable supply of the items with an asterisk (*) below.
- Pine-Sol*
- Bulk Liquid Laundry Detergent*
- Ginger Lily Farms Ocean Breeze 1 gallon Body Wash*
- Clorox (can not be shipped to PO Box)
- 50-gal garbage bags
- Shaving Cream
- Spray deodorant (mostly men’s)
- Paper towels
- Toilet paper
- Toilet bowl cleaner
- Medical Rubber Gloves (large, latex and powder free)
If you prefer to make a monetary donation, indicate “Corner S&L” on your check or electronic transaction. Money collected will be used to purchase bulk hygiene products.
