Bus Tokens for Daytime Warming Center Guests

In frigid temperatures and dangerous weather conditions, houseless people of all ages deserve a place to go off the street where their bodies and health will not be jeopardized, and that place is the Daytime Warming Center — a place where the community comes together to give shelter, warmth, food, a place to rest, humanity.  Various churches in Ann Arbor take turns hosting each month from November through March.  Guests of the warming centers need bus fare, and we can help by purchasing a bag of 10 tokens for $15.  Please consider making an online donation or leaving an envelope in the offertory marked “Bus Tokens”.  We will send all donations toward the purchase of tokens that will be used for the remainder of the winter months.
