St. Clare’s and Temple Beth Emeth are responsible for finding volunteers to help plan, prepare and deliver meals for the week beginning on Memorial Day – Monday, May 27. Please join us in being part of the solution to creating a healthy foundation for families in the area that are facing homelessness. When our bodies are well nourished we can think clearer and problem solve with more ease.
Providing meals not your thing? That’s okay. We can also use volunteers to supervise children in the evening so that the parents can get a little alone time.
MAKE A FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION: In addition to preparing and dropping off meals we also provide additional items needed at the shelter such as cleaning, toiletries and pantry items. Please consider donating to help us with those costs: visit www.saintclareschurch.org/give for giving options and choose Outreach or Other and add “Alpha House” in the comments.
