Advent and Christmas collide in a unique way this year! Sunday, December 24, is the 4th Sunday of Advent; it’s also, of course, Christmas Eve! We’re melding the two in a way that seems just right (to me at least!).

Our 4th Sunday of Advent service will be at noon, shared with guests from the Back Door Food Pantry, the Delonis Center, and anyone else who wants to come sing some carols and worship at noon! (It follows the luncheon at 11 a.m., for which we still need a few people: click here to volunteer.

In other words, there will be no 8:30 or 10:30 a.m. services on December 24. Come and worship at noon instead!

Then, that afternoon and evening, there are two Christmas Eve services. At 4 p.m., the Christmas story will be shared through a Christmas pageant (anyone can show up and join!). At 8 p.m., we’ll have a more traditional service. Both 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. will be livestreamed. An informal hymn sing with John Goodell will follow the 8 p.m. Christmas Eve service.

Our Christmas Day service will be an informal, joyful service of morning prayer on Monday, December 25, at 11 a.m.

The full schedule is summarized here. If you have questions, let me know!
