Please welcome Hope Kurtz, our new Sunday morning Children and Youth Assistant. Thanks to a generous anonymous gift, we’ve been able to support our growing children and youth programs with an extra position for Sunday mornings.
Hope is a graduate student at the University of Michigan pursuing a Master’s degree in educational studies with secondary teacher certification. After graduation, she plans to become a high school biology teacher in Michigan. During school, Hope has worked as a camp counselor, a resident advisor, and a tutor. She is originally from Traverse City, MI. In her free time, she enjoys browsing bookstores and playing sudoku.
