Please welcome our summer seminarian, Jenny Darrah!
About Jenny
Jenny Darrah will work with St. Clare’s this summer as a seminarian intern. Jenny is a postulant to the priesthood. Her sending parish is Holy Cross Novi, where she was active in the social justice ministry, liturgical leadership, choir, and Vestry. At the end of the summer, Jenny will return to Berkeley, California for her final year at Church Divinity School of the Pacific. When not engaged in church activities or seminary homework, Jenny enjoys reading, cross-stitch, hiking, and time with friends. She lives in Farmington Hills with her husband Casey.

St. Clare’s has a great history of being a part of the formation of leaders in the church, and I’m excited that we’ll get to be alongside Jenny on a bit of her journey this summer. Jenny’s internship is funded by the diocese, and she’ll be here about 20 hours a week from June 4 until August 13, working on a variety of projects. Please welcome her, reflect with her about our community here at St. Clare’s, ask her good questions about the fresh perspectives and questions she is bringing us as a person in “seminary learning mode,” and enjoy getting to know a lovely future priest and pastor!
