The dictionary defines an usher as a person who shows someone to their seat. At St. Clare’s, an usher has a much more important role. It is the usher who greets current members and newcomers as they arrive for a church service, signaling the genuine welcome and warm hospitality that characterizes the St. Clare’s community.
