Dear friends,
I had fun at our first annual meeting together! I hope you did too. I think I ended up at a place which shares my enthusiasm for effusive gratitude and appreciation (which I’m so grateful for! And appreciative of!)
You can watch my little video here. If you have further reflections on the places where resilience and joy have been for you this year, I would love to hear them.
I want to invite you especially to two things coming up at the end of this month:
A labyrinth service with a focus on healing and hope on Wednesday, February 23, at 6:30 pm. The service will be very open ended: a space to sing and walk the labyrinth. So bring whatever you might need to lay down in this heavy season, along with an open heart to encounter Jesus and whatever hope and healing he might send you out with.
And just after that: our Celebration of New Ministry service on Saturday, February 26, at 3pm. It’s going to be a festive and joyful occasion. Bishop Bonnie Perry will come to preside, and I’ve invited my wonderful friend/colleague/former boss, The Rev. Amy Denney Zuniga, to come preach. You’ll love her! And it will be a joyful moment to celebrate this new beginning together. It’s a friendly service for all ages. COVID precautions allowing, it will be followed by a reception.
In Hope,
Anne
