Many of us have grappled, especially in the past few years, with the painful and profound legacies that our ancestors have left us. Many of us carry a multitude of feelings about these various legacies; grief about systems of racism and oppression that they helped to build or sustain, gratitude for the examples of healing and justice that they left us, ambivalence about the stories that we remember or will never know. In this workshop, we will listen to ourselves and one another as we facilitate relationships across lines of difference, learn to play together and build our capacity to deepen our work in the larger community.
The workshop is best suited to ages 10 and up. Masks are required in our building. This event is free.
The time was chosen based on our best guess about when the UM football game will be held that day, but the game time is officially still TBD. If this time frame will put us all out directly into football traffic, we may adjust the time slightly!
