Kick off the start of the Christian year! Join us for the Animate Your Advent program, which will be held on four successive Wednesdays throughout Advent, starting November 28.
Each session will start with a simple meal, and then the group will watch, reflect on, and discuss a short film featuring Nadia Bolz-Weber and other contemporary, engaging thinkers. Adults and older teens welcome.
The topics presented represent core concepts in Christianity…with a twist.
These sessions aren’t meant to be lessons. They aren’t meant to provide answers. They’re aren’t meant to fit neatly…and then be forgotten. No, these sessions are designed to raise questions, to flip established answers and assumptions upside down, to stick in the heads of participants for months and even years to come.
